The RAAF have just finished scrapping all our remaining F111C's, It was a sad day when they made that announcement :( I was at Bathurst the last time an F111 did a dump and burn flyby before the race, they were so much cooler than the F18s they use now...

I just spend the weekend with a retired FB111 navigator.
I asked why he chose it after navigator school. He said his choices were FB-111, KC-135, and C-141. Once he told me those were his choices, it was obvious.
After he told me what the right seat was responsible for (co-pilot, navi, engineering, weapons, and electronic counter measures) I asked him how often he thanked the pilot for giving him a ride to work. We both laughed.
